My Favorite Lettering Artists on Instagram

Andrew Hudson - lettering - andrewsketch on ig

I'm just going to get right into it with @andrewsketch's incredible lettering! I had never seen anything like this before and I loved it instantly. You can find his website and online shop here.

maria filar - lettering - mariafilar on ig

I just love @mariafilar's style and the retro color scheme she uses. She has an Etsy shop called 5EyeStudio where she sells the cutest greeting cards, prints, earrings, and stickers!

shannon snow - letterer - @hello.shannon on ig

The #36daysoftype that @hello.shannon did just blew me away. Like, how gorgeous are these?! She also creates a lot of amazing illustrations that look like they're straight from the best storybook ever. She has super cute prints and mugs available in her online shop.

Ade Hogue - letterer - @adehogue on ig

@adehogue does some of the most incredible lettering with all sorts of materials - honey (check out the behind the scenes video of this one), flowers, glitter, paper.. it's awesome! You can find his website and online store here. He also has a design studio called Something Tiny that makes some of the most beautiful typographic logos.

idle letters - letterer - @idleletters on ig

@idleletters was one of the first accounts I came across that got me into hand lettering. I loved the texture, colors, and really just everything. The first Procreate brushes I purchased were from his shop. You can find his website here and check out all the beautiful work.

That's it for this post! I hope you found some new artists you like too! If you have any favorite lettering accounts you follow, I'd love to see them :]

Weekly Love | Link Roundup

◐ Door Sixteen is blogging again! I used to read her blog waaay back in the day and it was one of my favorites. How incredible is her hand painted kitchen floor?

I need to make these crispy paprika fries asap. I've got a bag of potatoes in the pantry that I need to use so this will be perfect 😋

◐ Wide Open School is an awesome (free!) site that creates a casual school curriculum for your kids based on their grade. It has been really helpful over here!

I made a few weekly lesson planning sheets if you are needing something for homeschool this year. You can print them or use them in digital planning apps, such as Goodnotes.

◐ If you're into bullet journaling, you'll love this Instagram account. Sometimes I get stuck with layout ideas and this is a go-to for getting new ideas.

Proof! math card game

I bought this math card game called Proof! (affiliate link) last week and we have been loving it over here! You lay out nine cards and try to find hidden equations within those cards using addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. When you find an equation you keep those cards and whoever has the most cards wins.

We used all the cards the first time we played and my daughter got a little frustrated because the larger number cards made it difficult. The next time we played, I mostly used the smaller numbers with only a couple larger cards mixed in and she loved it! She woke up two mornings in a row asking to play first thing 🙌  They also have interactive math games on their website that you can play!

bobcat and birdie latch hook kits bobcatandbirdie.etsy.com

I can't get over these amazing latch hook kits! Check out the Bobcat & Birdie Instagram account to see some of the ones people have made so far - they're so cool!

That's some of my favorite things from the week. I hope you all have a great weekend
